I love to use a mix of imagination and more than one reference photo so that I can make something original. Making art from images without a photographer's consent isn't necessarily illegal, but it is important to know if you have permission incase the photographer takes action against you. It is important to credit the inspiration source.

Some of the sites also offer music and videos. It is important to have permission from the photographer to use their photos for a drawing, painting, etc. These sites offer free photos that already give permission to use their photos, music, or videos.
